Let's start this off my making it clear, this is not a real Erdinger, it's some new flavour of Erdinger called Schneeweisse. It is still a wheat beer, but it doesn't the same taste or sweetness of original Erdinger. Schneeweisse translates literally as Snow-white, which is such a cute name it actually made me less mad at the beer for tasting so lame.

There is the potential to confuse it for a bottle of Alkoholfrei Erdinger, don't make this mistake...

I was looking for an picture of the Alkoholfrei label on the internets, and found this. I can't work out whether they are promoting Alkoholfrei Erdinger as a suitable drink for athletes, or whether it's a subtle marketing ploy to associate alcohol-free beer with tanned muscular guys in loin cloths, and so increase sales of original Erdinger.
